Brad Yaeger

Brad is an Associate at Warren Camacho LLP practicing exclusively in the area of family law.

Brad earned his Bachelor’s degree (with distinction) in humanities from Concordia University’s esteemed Liberal Arts College. He obtained a Graduate diploma in Business Administration from Concordia’s John Molson School of Business, and then his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, where he graduated cum laude. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2018 and spent four years as an associate in a high-volume family law litigation practice at a national law firm before joining Warren Camacho in 2022.

Brad represents clients in complex and wide-ranging litigation files including appeals, Hague Convention applications, high conflict parenting disputes (including mobility cases and cases with allegations of domestic violence or parental alienation), contempt motions, and complex property and support disputes (including joint family venture claims, income imputation claims, and claims to set aside domestic contracts). He appears regularly before Ottawa’s Superior Court of Justice. He is also experienced in negotiating and drafting marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements.

Brad is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario and the Country of Carleton Law Association. He also volunteers in a variety of capacities at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, including mentoring law students and guest judging moots and other competitions.

When he is not in the office, you will find Brad spending quality time with his spouse Caroline, his son Liam, and his dog Remy.

Brad’s Approach: “I think that my most important job as a family law lawyer is helping my clients keep perspective. Winning a battle is never worth losing the war, and it is easy to lose sight of the big picture over the course of an emotional family law case. A good litigator must be principled, firm, and fair, but above all pragmatic.“
